GAR'S WONDER STRIKE
Dollymount had a very lack lustre first half which saw them conceding 2 goals.
The second half saw a different D.3 team. They started with much more determination to win the ball and started to pass the ball better. The more the game went on, the more dominent they became. The goal finally came 12mins into the half,.
Robbie hit in the freekick from the 1/2 way line, the ball was headed into the air at the edge of the box. Gar was just outside the area, the ball took an age to come down, but Gar just waited and kept his eye on the ball and caught it on the VOLLEY and the ball flew through about 21 players and into the net, giving the keeper no hope.
Baz broke through, one on one with the goalie, tried to round him but let the ball get to close to the keeper. That didn't stop Baz, who slide in to beat the keeper, to steer the ball home.
D.3 pushed for the winner and played some good football till the end.
